1. What does The UpCounty Hub do?

  • The UpCounty Hub provides, without barriers and with dignity, food and integrated essential services to community members in Upper Montgomery County.

 

2. Can I volunteer at The UpCounty Hub? 

3. What are the requirements to volunteer? 

  • ALL VOLUNTEERS must: 1.  be 18 years or older and able to work independently,  2.  show proof that they are fully vaccinated, (including boosters, if eligible): wear double masks while in the HUB space and 4. have the ability to lift 25 lbs.     

4. Where can I drop off donations? 

  • Donations can be dropped off at The UpCounty Hub, located on the side of the Upcounty Regional Services center, at 12900 Middlebrook Road in Germantown, MD. Hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm. 

5. Does The UpCounty Hub help with SNAP referrals? 

  • Yes. Please fill out our referral form if you or you know someone who needs help with SNAP. Our in-house social worker, Stephanie Rodriguez, will reach out to you if you/them directly.
